April is Youth Month

What kind of saver is your child? One who saves happily, or with a scowl? To find out, stop by one of branches during National Credit Union Youth Month.

 

Every saver is unique, but most people who save regularly developed the habit early in life. Learning to delay gratification in order to save for long-term goals is a crucial life skill, and one that Via Credit Union is committed to helping our youngest members develop.  That's why we create programs and services designed specifically for young people, like the Coindexter Kid’s Club and CU Save Teen Club. 

 

In addition, ViaCU is participating in the Savings Challenge to encourage youth to save!  Every member under the age of 18 who makes a deposit during April will be entered into the National Youth Savings Challenge drawing to win $1,000*!

Docu-Shield Community Shred Day

Community Shred Day is Saturday, May 6, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.  This service is available for individuals, not businesses.  Docu-Shield is part of the Carey Services’ sheltered workshop located at 2724 South Carey Street in Marion (across from Lowe’s on the Bypass).   No magazines or newspapers, please.
