An update regarding COVID-19

Economic Impact Payments

The IRS and Treasury will begin issuing another round of Economic Impact Payments as early as Wednesday, March 17 to millions of Americans who previously received stimulus payments.

As with past stimulus payments, funds will be issued over several weeks to the account the IRS or Social Security Administration has on file. ViaCU does not control when your payment will be deposited. The best way to see if your stimulus check has posted to your account, is to log into ViaConnect.  You may also check the status of your payment by visiting the IRS “Get My Payment” tool.

Due to higher call volume, ViaCU’s ability to respond to calls or messages may take longer than usual. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for being a member of ViaCU.

 

Via Credit Union lobbies will open on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

While the lobbies will be open, we will continue to offer extended services in our drive-ups for your safety and convenience. In addition, new account openings and lending needs will be available by appointment only at this time.

In order to protect our staff and other members, the following health and safety guidelines have been implemented at all of our branch locations.

FACE MASK & IDENTITY VERIFICATION

In accordance with the Governor’s statewide mask mandate, masks are required at all times while inside a ViaCU branch. However, in order to complete proper identification procedures, we may ask you to temporarily remove your mask. Please consider drive-up or ViaOnline services if you do not feel comfortable temporarily removing your mask or wearing a mask while in a ViaCU branch.

 

Social Distancing

SOCIAL DISTANCING

You’ll find signage throughout the branch, indicating 6 feet social distancing as you wait to complete transactions. Please adhere to the social distancing markers during your visit. In accordance to the social distancing guidelines, we are limiting the number of members permitted into the lobby. Therefore, only people needed to conduct business should enter the branch.

 

Hygiene

HYGIENE & PROTECTIVE BARRIERS

We ask that you do not move, remove, or tamper with signage, protective barriers, or hand sanitizer that has been put in place to protect our members and employees. Please be reassured that frequent cleaning and disinfecting measures are being taken throughout the branch as well. Furthermore, ViaCU employees are completing a daily health check and are advised to stay home if sick.
